Regrettably we are unable to accept people under the
age of 18 as members.
16 to 18 year olds are welcome to express interest and will be invited to special guest events which will be held regularly throughout the year.

Unfortunately we are also unable to accept people on
work experience courses.

Please note that because we are a voluntary organisation, we are staffed mainly outside office hours.

We are a charity broadcasting service specifically aimed at hospital patients in the Torbay Hospital. The service cannot be heard on normal radios, as it's fed direct to the patient's bedside. The station aims to provide programmes containing a unique mixture of patient requests, music, news, information and sport. Torbay Hospital Radio is run entirely by a team of volunteers who are dedicated to making the patient's stay in hospital a little more pleasant. We are always looking for more volunteers to help continue the service. Its not just about presenting a show, you can be a ward visitor and collect requests as well as helping out at our fund-raising events.
