We are a charity broadcasting service specifically aimed at hospital patients in the

Torbay Hospital. The service cannot be heard on normal radios, as
it's fed direct to the patient's bedside. The station aims to
provide programmes containing a unique mixture of patient requests,
music, news, information and sport. Torbay Hospital Radio provides a unique mixture of programmes to
patients in Torbay District General Hospital. These programmes are
produced especially for the patients and many include requests.
If you know someone in our hospital please feel free to contact us
on 01803 655361 with a request. If you have recently been in
hospital and heard our programmes, you are welcome to send us your
comments. In addition to the programmes listed below Torbay Hospital
Radio can be heard 24hrs a day, 7 days a week, via our friendly
computer, nicknamed Cedric!

As a voluntary organisation, we are always looking for new members
to help us maintain and improve our service. So if your visit to our
website has inspired you to get involved with hospital radio, please
contact us via the contact us page. If you are not in the Torbay or
South Hams area you can find out about other hospital radio stations
in the UK by visiting the Hospital Broadcasting Association.
We hope that this visit to our website will give you an insight into
the work we do. If you know someone who is a patient in one of the
hospitals we serve, please feel free to make a request for them by
visiting the requests page.
Whatever your interest we hope you enjoy the site and would welcome
your feedback.
